Managing Director of School
The Managing Director role is an ideal opportunity for a dynamic and visionary leader to lead and grow a new school. The Managing Director serves as the “CEO” of the school community having direct accountability for operating and leading a world-class school.
Throughout the school year, the Resident Principal will receive regular professional coaching and development and work to develop their skills alongside their Managing Director/Principal with an opportunity to lead our Zeta Schools as a Principal as we continue to scale.
As an Academic Director at Zeta, you will drive the academic achievement of your school while fostering a flourishing learning community amongst students, families, and teachers. With the support and guidance of the school’s Principal and our network academic team, you will oversee tremendous academic outcomes for all students in all subjects leveraging academic data, implementing differentiated instruction, and ideating creative solutions to extraordinary challenges. You will set the standard for excellence in content knowledge, planning and implementation. By providing meaningful and actionable feedback while building strong relationships you will develop our teachers into an efficient and high-achieving team. You will also build relationships with students and families, driving for a strong school culture. The Academic Director owns all academic outcomes at the school, which requires a deep knowledge of the content and curriculum and the ability to recognize, both in data and in practice, where teachers need additional support and development.
