Dermond Thomas began his legal career at the law firms of Fried Frank and Arnold & Porter where he first developed his deep corporate transactional expertise representing sovereign nations, and public and private companies in complex transactions.  Mr. Thomas has also held leadership positions as an in-house corporate attorney at a multibillion-dollar industrial distributor and a multinational private school, where he handled a variety of corporate legal matters and corporate governance initiatives.  Mr. Thomas currently leads the Advisory Team which supports Zeta’s growth and operational strategies.  Mr. Thomas received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.A. in Economics from Amherst College.  Mr. Thomas was also recognized in 2019 as one of the Top Lawyers of Long Island by Herald Community Newspapers.
