Kelly Scott discovered her love for education as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine where she was a middle school/high school English teacher and a teacher educator. Ms. Scott has taught 4th grade in a public school in Brownsville (Brooklyn, NY), and was also a 2nd grade teacher and grade team lead at a Success Academy school in Harlem. She went on to being the Math Achievement Coach and Assistant Principal at the Neighborhood Charter School of Harlem. Ms. Scott joined the Zeta team in 2018 as the Academic Director at Inwood 1. A former Teach for America corps member, Ms. Scott holds a B.A. in Sociology and Communication Studies from Westmont College, an M.S. in Nonprofit Management from Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy, and an M.S. in Special Education from Hunter College. When not working, you can find Ms. Scott running around Central Park or jetting off to run a marathon in a different state.
