Zeta’s new Inwood campus is set to open this fall! The newly constructed building brings together students from three campuses into one world-class facility with bright, spacious classrooms, labs, recording and dance studios and so much more! We asked Zeta Inwood parent Sugeidy Reynoso to share her thoughts on the coming move.

Mis dos hijas aman a Zeta. A mi hija de segundo grado, Amaiah, le encanta aprender y ser parte de su clase, y mi hija de quinto grado, Alaia, dormiría en la escuela si pudiera porque nunca quiere dejar a sus amigos.

Están muy emocionados de poder ir juntos a la misma escuela en un edificio nuevo. Además, esperan con ansias los programas extracurriculares a los que podrán unirse. Ya han probado el taekwondo, el violín y la danza, y ahora también habrá nuevas propuestas.

Nuevo espacio, mismo Zeta destacado

Tengo muchas ganas de verlos en el nuevo edificio. Les dará más espacio para aprender y crecer. Y siéntete seguro de que las cosas fundamentales de Zeta no cambiarán. Me atrajo a esta escuela la dedicación que todos tienen para ayudar a los estudiantes a alcanzar y superar sus metas, y cómo se establece el plan de estudios para desafiar a los niños.

Lo que más me gusta de Zeta es la motivación que tienen los profesores. Nuestros maestros no se conforman y tampoco dejan que los niños se conformen. Siempre empujan a mis hijas y a los demás estudiantes a hacerlo mejor y llegar más alto. Estos niños no solo van a la escuela y se van a casa; ¡Están motivados para dar lo mejor de sí mismos!

Mis hijas han crecido mucho desde que llegaron a Zeta. Mi hija menor ha progresado mucho con la lectura y se ha vuelto más independiente. Alaia es mucho más responsable y atenta a las pequeñas cosas a lo largo del día. Incluso sabe que quiere ser juez de un tribunal penal algún día. Es increíble ver cómo se ha inspirado. Eso es gracias a Zeta.

Tener las nuevas y grandes aulas les dará a los estudiantes de Zeta una gran oportunidad de sentirse más cómodos en su espacio y realmente abrazar su aprendizaje. También tendrá un impacto positivo en la comunidad Zeta en general. Estaremos todos juntos ahora y con el espacio ampliado, los padres pueden quedarse en la escuela un poco más y pasar más tiempo juntos.

Y con los niños en un solo lugar, mis hijas podrán compartir experiencias juntas por primera vez. Espero verlos compartir su alegría en Zeta entre ellos.

Both my girls love Zeta. My second grader, Amaiah, loves learning and being part of her class, and my fifth grader, Alaia, would sleep at school if she could because she never wants to leave her friends. 

They’re so excited about being able to go to the same school together in a brand new building. Plus, they’re looking forward to the after school programs they’ll be able to join. They’ve already tried Taekwondo, violin, and dance, and now there will be new offerings too.

New space, same outstanding Zeta

I’m looking forward to seeing them in the new building. It will give them more space to learn and grow. And feel confidence that the core things about Zeta won’t change. I was drawn to this school by the dedication everyone has to help students meet and exceed their goals, and how the curriculum is set up to challenge the kids. 

My favorite thing about Zeta is the motivation that the teachers have. Our teachers don’t settle and they don’t let the kids settle either. They always push my daughters and the other students to do better and reach higher. These kids don’t just go to school and go home; they’re motivated to do their best!

My daughters have grown so much since coming to Zeta. My younger daughter has made a lot of progress with reading and has become more independent. Alaia is much more responsible and attentive to smaller things throughout the day. She even knows that she wants to be a criminal court judge one day. It’s amazing to see how she’s been inspired. That’s thanks to Zeta.

Having the big, new classrooms will give Zeta’s students a great opportunity to feel more comfortable in their space and really embrace their learning. It will also have a positive impact on the Zeta community overall. We’ll all be together now and with the expanded space, parents can stay in the school a little longer and spend more time together.

And with the children in one location, my daughters will be able to share experiences together for the first time. I look forward to seeing them share their joy in Zeta with one another.
