We know that applying for a new job can be stressful, and our goal is to make the process of applying to Zeta, regardless of role, as seamless and informative as possible. We provide information about the application journey on our website, and you should also feel free to reach out if you do not find the information you are looking for.
Teacher Application Process
- Application Review: Our team reviews your application, including resume, application questions, and cover letter if required (sometimes we will reach out to have a preliminary phone conversation to get to know you a bit better)
- Self-Recorded Video Interview: This is a chance for our team to get to know you better through an initial screening
- Interview: We will let you know if any pre-work is needed prior to your interview
- Reference Check: We ask you to submit 3 references for us to connect with to learn more about you
- Offer: We make an offer to you to join our team
Network, Operations, and School Support Application Process

Our Ideal Team Player
At Zeta, we know that a strong team is the key to achieving our mission of an excellent education for every child. We are inspired by the idea that the ideal team player is humble, hungry, and smart, a concept from a beloved Zeta book called The Ideal Team Player by Patrick Lencioni.
Humble
Ideal team players are humble. They lack excessive ego or concerns about status. Humble people are quick to point out the contributions of others and slow to seek attention for their own. They share credit, emphasize team over self, and define success collectively rather than individually.
Hungry
Ideal team players are hungry and tripping over themselves to help teammates. They are always looking for more — more things to do, more to learn, and more responsibility to take on. Hungry people are self-motivated and diligent, and are constantly thinking about the next step and opportunity.
People Smart
Ideal team players are empathetic and smart about people. They tend to know what is happening in a group situation and how to deal with others in the most effective way. They have good judgment and intuition around the subtleties of group dynamics and the impact of their words and actions.
