
Nicole Brisbane
Nicole Brisbane has dedicated her career to advocating for high-quality public education in every community. She began her work in education as a middle school Intensive Reading teacher in 2005. After earning her law degree, she joined Teach For America as Director of District and Community Partnerships in Miami, FL, and later served as the national Managing Director of New Site Development, leading the organization’s expansion into six new regions. Nicole went on to lead Democrats for Education Reform New York (DFER) and its affiliate organizations, Education Reform Now and Education Reform Now Advocacy, where she advanced policy and advocacy efforts statewide. Most recently, she ran her own consulting practice focused on public sector and nonprofit organizational improvement, and served as a Project Director at the Center for Public Research and Leadership at Columbia University. Currently, Nicole is a Partner at Building Impact Partners, where she helps philanthropists and mission-driven organizations drive systemic change across education and social impact sectors. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Florida State University and holds a Juris Doctor from Emory Law School.
